Avikus to demonstrate self-sailing solution 'HiNAS 2.0'
SEOUL -- Avikus, a South Korean self-sailing solution developer affiliated with HD Hyundai, will check the efficacy of decreased fuel consumption and reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of its autonomous navigation system called HiNAS 2.0. The company predicted that the autonomous ship solution would help operators save up to seven percent of fuel. Mars Auto's self-driving solution to be demonstrated through cargo trucks in S. Korea
SEOUL -- A self-driving solution developed by Mars Auto, a South Korean autonomous truck developer, will be used for freight transport service through urban roads that connect Seoul and the southeastern province of Gyeongsang. The level 3 self-driving system with seven cameras and a minicomputer can detect driving environments and autonomously control cargo trucks. The current law does not allow autonomous commercial cargo transport services between different cities and provinces.
