Yoon is likely to be whisked once again into the Seoul Central District Court in southern Seoul next Tuesday, as he did so earlier this week, through a secluded passageway from the underground parking lot.
The Seoul High Court, which oversees security of the courthouse premises, said on Friday that it would allow such an entry "for security reasons" if he requests it.
But the court decided the previous day to allow reporters to take photographs for several minutes before the trial begins, although live broadcasts will not be permitted.
All vehicles, except for some essential ones, have already been prohibited from entering until next Tuesday.
During his first court appearance last Wednesday, Yoon managed to stay out of the public eye as the court did not permit taking photos, which sparked controversy with some alleging preferential treatment toward the impeached president over his Dec. 3 declaration of martial law.
Yoon reportedly reiterated his claims in his defense during the trial and strongly denied most of the allegations related to the debacle, despite the Constitutional Court of Korea's unanimous ruling to impeach him earlier this month.
