SEOUL, March 14 (AJP) - Springtime often sees a surge in wildfires, as dry conditions and parched vegetation create ideal circumstances.

Authorities are responding with heightened preparedness, including public education campaigns, increased monitoring, and rigorous firefighting exercises.
