SEOUL, January 15 (AJP) - J-Hope, a member of the K-pop juggernaut BTS, will embark on his North American tour this spring.

The tour includes a stop in Los Angeles, where he is set to perform at the La La Land's iconic BMO Stadium in April, becoming the first K-pop artist to do so.

BMO Stadium near Exposition Park in downtown Los Angeles is an open-air soccer-specific arena with a seating capacity of around 22,000. It is the home stadium for Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and the National Women's Soccer League's Angel City Football Club.

With the theme of "Hope on the Stage," the 30-year-old will hold over 30 gigs in 15 North American cities, kicking off with shows in Seoul from Feb. 28 to March 2 at Olympic Park, which have already sold out.

J-Hope completed his mandatory military service in October last year, following the discharge of the band's eldest member Jin in June.

The reunion of all BTS members is expected later this year, as the remaining members — RM, V, Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga — are set to complete their military service by June.
