LAS VEGAS, January 8 (AJP) - The health technology sector is a major focus at CES 2025, with exhibitors showcasing a range of AI-powered medical devices and assistive technologies designed for an aging population.
The Korean Pavilion, featuring innovations from Gwangju, Seongnam, Daejeon, and Seoul, is a hub for these cutting-edge developments.
One standout is Skeeper's AI stethoscope, which integrates a thermometer, camera, and expandable memory. This versatile device offers versions for hospitals, home care, and even pet care, reflecting the growing demand for smart health monitoring solutions.

The hearing assistance segment is also seeing significant expansion.
Nuance Audio is showcasing its smart hearing glasses, targeting individuals with early-stage hearing loss. Unlike traditional hearing aids, these stylish frames feature directional speakers that amplify the voice of the person the wearer is facing.
"It's a mild approach, an open door for people with not only hearing loss but general users as well, because the process to a hearing aid is very long," said Mateo Dondrao, a Nuance Audio official. The glasses also include an "all-around" mode for broader environmental sound enhancement.
