SEOUL, December 2 (AJP) - Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in the UAE on Sunday for a fraternal visit, which is his first trip to the country in three years.

Crown Prince Mohammed was welcomed by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Qasr Al Rawdha in Al Ain. The leaders discussed strengthening bilateral ties and Gulf cooperation amid regional and global challenges. They emphasized their shared commitment to regional stability, security, and advancing a two-state solution for Middle East peace.

The visit comes days before the Dec. 5 OPEC+ meeting, postponed from Sunday, where key oil policy decisions, including an output hike for the UAE scheduled for January 2025, are expected.

The Saudi crown prince's trip coincides with heightened economic and diplomatic coordination between the two Gulf allies, despite occasional policy divergences.

The UAE President hosted a dinner in the Saudi leader's honor, underscoring the nations' deep-rooted ties under their strategic partnership.
