Woman's dance at India Gate stirs controversy

SEOUL, November 22 (AJP) - A woman dancing in front of a war memorial wearing only a towel has sparked controversy.

On Tuesday, Sannati Mitra, a model from Kolkata, shared an Instagram video of herself dancing at India Gate, a war memorial in New Delhi, while wrapped in only a towel. The video shows Mitra dancing to music, with the towel draped around her body. At one point, she removes the towel, briefly exposing parts of her body.

India Gate was built to honor Indian soldiers who fought and died in World War I. The model danced in front of India Gate, drawing shocked reactions from onlookers, some of whom stopped in their tracks to stare at her.

She shared the video on her Instagram account with the caption, "Happy International Men's Day."

Mitra mentioned that the video was filmed and posted on November 19 as her way of celebrating International Men’s Day, describing it as a unique expression of gratitude for the kindness shown by men.
