SEOUL, November 19 (AJP) - The annual Dubai Run will take over Sheikh Zayed Road this Sunday, offering 5-km and 10-km routes past some of the city's most iconic landmarks, including the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Opera, and Museum of the Future.

As the final event of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, the run aims to promote an active lifestyle among residents and visitors. The 5-km route ends near Dubai Mall, while the 10-km route crosses Dubai Canal Bridge and concludes near DIFC Gate.

Participation is free and open to all ages and abilities, with children under 13 requiring adult supervision. Registration is straightforward, requiring basic details such as name, contact information, and an emergency contact number.

Participants can select their route and choose an arrival time between 4 a.m. and 8 a.m. for the 5-km race or 4 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. for the 10-km race.

Sheikh Zayed Road and nearby streets will temporarily close to accommodate runners, with last year's closures extending from the Trade Centre Roundabout to the 2nd Interchange.
