SEOUL, November 14 (AJP) - The Tianzhou-8 cargo spacecraft and the Long March-7 Y9 rocket were moved to the launch site on Wednesday, China's Manned Space Agency said.

The facilities and equipment at the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site in China's Hainan Province are in good condition, with pre-launch function checks and joint tests proceeding as scheduled, according to the agency.

The spacecraft carries supplies for the Shenzhou-19 and Shenzhou-20 crews, including packages for Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Dragon Boat Festival, as well as birthday packages for astronauts celebrating in space.

It will also transport materials for science experiments. For the first time, a synthetic lunar soil brick will undergo an exposure test to explore its potential for building on the moon. The brick is expected to return to Earth next year following the experiment.
