Pinkfong animation tops Netflix kids' charts in 9 countries

SEOUL, November 12 (AJP) - "Pinkfong Little Dino School," a children's animation created by The Pinkfong Company, has taken the top spot in the kids' category on Netflix in nine countries, the South Korean entertainment company announced Tuesday.

Since its release on Nov. 4, the show has climbed to number one in markets including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore. It also made it into Netflix's Top 10 in 12 countries.

The series, which brings the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods to life with vibrant 3D animations, follows the adventures of various dinosaurs, including Tyrannosaurus Rex and Brachiosaurus.
 


The "Pinkfong Little Dino School" series, which was initially released as short episodes on YouTube, has accumulated 160 million views as of November 2024.

Pinkfong has gained widespread popularity with its Baby Shark content, which tells the story of a playful family of white sharks through vibrant visuals and an infectious melody. The "Baby Shark Dance" video, uploaded in 2016, has amassed over 15 billion views.
