The company said Tuesday it is presenting about 50 products, including tofu tenders and soymilk noodles, during the event underway at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center from Oct. 19-23.
Six Pulmuone products were included in a list of the most innovative items selected by food experts at the exhibition.
"By showcasing Pulmuone's plant-based innovations at SIAL Paris 2024, we aim to accelerate our entry into the European market, expand the global reach of sustainable K-food following our successes in the U.S., China and Japan, and achieve our goal of becoming the world's leading sustainable food company," said Oh Seung-hwan, director of Pulmuone's Global Business.
The company operates subsidiaries in the United States, China, Japan and Viet Nam, and plans to establish a European subsidiary in 2025 to distribute its plant-based product line, including tofu and meat substitutes.
The five-day SIAL Paris attracted about 300,000 visitors and 7,000 companies, including global food giants Nestlé, Danone and Aldi.
