SEOUL, September 25 (AJP) - Samsung Electronics said Wednesday its Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 LTE have jointly reached the top position in the latest Consumer Reports evaluation. Both devices scored 92 points, while the Apple Watch Ultra 2 received 91 points. Consumer Reports gave the Galaxy Watch Ultra an "Excellent" rating in all 11 categories of its assessment.

The U.S. consumer watchdog noted the Galaxy Watch Ultra's usability, step counting accuracy, and heart rate monitoring. They also mentioned its connectivity with smartphones and convenience in charging. The Galaxy Watch7 Bluetooth model scored 90 points, tying for fourth place with the Apple Watch Series 9.

Samsung released the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 globally in July 2023. The Ultra model is available in a 47mm LTE version with three titanium color options, priced at 899,800 won ($669). The Watch7 comes in 44mm and 40mm sizes with prices ranging from 349,000 won ($260) to 419,100 won ($312), depending on the model.

Three Samsung smartwatch models ranked in the top five of this evaluation. The recently released Apple Watch 10 was not included in this assessment by Consumer Reports.
