SEOUL, September 24 (AJP) - A female nurse managed to escape an attempted sexual assault at a hospital in eastern India, according to recent news sources.
On Sept. 11, three men confronted a nurse working at a private hospital in Samastipur, Bihar, intending to assault her.
The suspects were identified as a doctor working at the hospital and his friends. Despite being intoxicated, they meticulously planned the crime by locking the hospital and turning off the CCTV cameras beforehand.
In an attempt to escape, the nurse fiercely resisted, using a surgical knife in the room to cut off part of the doctor's genitals, and managed to flee.
The police, responding to the nurse's report, arrested the three men at the scene.
