SEOUL, September 10 (AJP) - BTS's global fan base, ARMY, spanning 58 countries, voiced their support for Suga on Monday following his recent investigation for drunk driving.

In a joint statement, 127 ARMY groups reaffirmed their backing for all seven BTS members. "The Global ARMY Alliance supports all seven members of BTS," the statement read, emphasizing that fans do not expect the members to take any more responsibility than what is legally required.

Suga was charged last month with operating an electric scooter while intoxicated in central Seoul, with a blood alcohol level of 0.227 percent, nearly three times the legal limit for license revocation in Korea. He admitted to the charges and issued a public apology, expressing regret and apologizing to fans for his actions.

Despite Suga's apology, some individuals claiming to be fans have called for him to leave the group, urging BTS's agency and Suga to take further responsibility. However, ARMY urged the media to disregard these demands, noting that they may not represent genuine fans, and advised focusing only on official statements.
