The public art project Lobster Wonderland, hosted by Lotte Property & Development, the management body of the 555-meter-tall Lotte World Tower, will be put on display from Sept. 6 to 29, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of the tallest building in Korea.
Colbert, the creator of Lobster Wonderland, is known for his playful and witty lobster-themed artworks. Colbert is often referred to as the "next Andy Warhol."
The highlight of the project is a massive 16-meter-tall and 30.5-meter-wide lobster art balloon floating on Seokchon Lake. Named "Floating Lobster King," it's the largest of Colbert's works.
Busking performances will be held every Saturday at 5 p.m. during the exhibition period.
