Samsung unveils new laptop with advanced AI capabilities

SEOUL, Sept. 4 (AJP) - Samsung Electronics has introduced its latest laptop, the Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, featuring Intel's next-generation AI chipset. 

The device is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra Processor Series 2, supporting up to 47 tera operations per second (TOPS) neural processing unit (NPU) and enhancing AI application compatibility and graphics performance.

The laptop integrates with Galaxy smartphones, allowing users to access Galaxy AI features on the PC's larger screen, including Circle to Search and Live Translate.

It features a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Vision Booster technology, offering a 3K resolution screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additional features include Dolby Atmos speakers, S Pen support, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and the Samsung Knox security platform. The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 will be available in gray and silver, with sales starting in September in several countries including Germany, the United States and the United Kingdom.

"The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, which we are introducing through close cooperation with industry leaders, will make users' daily lives and work easier, more convenient, and more efficient," Kim Hak-sang, a vice president, said. "The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 will further strengthen the Galaxy AI ecosystem and lead the popularization of AI PCs," he added.
