SEOUL, August 20 (AJU PRESS) - Shooter Kim Ye-ji, who earned global fame during the Summer Olympics in Paris early this month, has signed a contract with a talent agency.

Plfil, which specializes mainly in managing actors and actresses, said on Monday it will support the Olympic star to ensure that she "will shine brightly on various stages."

Kim is reportedly considering several endorsement deals including one with the French luxury brand Louis Vuitton.

The 31-year-old, who won silver in the women's 10-meter air pistol at the Olympics, became an overnight star after one of her video clips went viral.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk even lauded her incredibly calm demeanor and marksmanship, writing on X last month, "She should be cast in an action movie. No acting required!" But it remains to be seen whether she will actually appear in movies.

When asked what she would do if offered a role as a sharpshooter, she said she has not "given it much serious thought" in an interview with the Los Angeles Times early this month. "For the most part, I think I need to focus on my primary commitment, which is shooting. And I also feel that people want to see….. the shooter, not another version of me," she told the daily.
