SEOUL, July 23 (AJU PRESS) - Korea's CMG Pharmaceutical announced Tuesday that its cosmetic products will be exported to An Thinh Phat, a Vietnamese distributor of healthcare products.

CMG Pharmaceutical held a launch event for its "Dr. Bargo" brand in Hanoi on Sunday along with An Thinh Phat and Seoul-based distribution company Home & Mall Shopping. Dr. Bargo is a skincare brand jointly developed by CMG Pharmaceutical and Home & Mall Shopping, targeting the Vietnamese market.

Boasting over 1,000 partner companies, An Thinh Phat imports Korean health supplements and cosmetics, distributing them across major cities in Viet Nam, including Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. It operates offline channels, such as cosmetic stores and pharmacies, as well as online outlets on platforms like TikTok and Shopee.

The exports include a whitening and anti-wrinkle cream and five other products based on hyaluronic acid.

CMG Pharmaceutical also aims to export six types of health supplements by the end of 2024. The company plans to sell products worth $4 million (about 5.5 billion won) in Viet Nam this year.

"With CMG Pharmaceutical's high-quality products, we will target the $14 billion health and beauty market in Viet Nam," CMG Pharmaceutical CEO Lee Joo-hyung said in a press release.
