Rainbow Robotics signs distribution deal in Viet Nam

SEOUL, June 17 (AJU PRESS) - SEOUL, June 17 (AJU PRESS) - Robot platform company Rainbow Robotics said on Monday it has signed an exclusive three-year deal with KOVIFA VINA for the distribution of its collaborative robot series RB in Viet Nam.

Under the agreement signed on Friday in Bac Ninh, Viet Nam, KOVIFA VINA, an automation equipment maker headquartered in the country, will be the sole distributor of Rainbow's RB collaborative robot line in the Vietnamese market. The RB series robots, made of robust aluminum and featuring top waterproof and dustproof ratings certified by TÜV SÜD, a global certification authority, are expected to be deployed in packaging, assembly, bonding and other tasks across Vietnam's manufacturing sector.

Rainbow Robotics CEO Lee Jung-ho said Vietnam is emerging as a key global manufacturing hub amid supply chain diversification efforts, adding the deal will help expand the company's reach in Viet Nam through a "world-class quality, Korea-standard service, competitive price" strategy. KOVIFA VINA CEO Jeong Young-joo said the partnership combines Rainbow's proven robot technology with his firm's automation integration capabilities to drive the adoption of smart factory solutions in Viet Nam.
