The global streaming service giant said the South Korean content recorded 8.1 million views on its weekly non-English TV show category with some 65 million viewing hours from June 12 to June 18. The second most watched content was "Fake Profile," a Colombian romantic drama thriller series with about 5.6 million views and some 35 million viewing hours.
The South Korean TV series entered the top 10 in 40 countries three days after its release on June 9 including Brazil, Frace, and Mexico. The content stars Woo Do-hwan, a 30-year-old actor who appeared in the 2017 thriller series "Save Me" and Lee Sang-yi, a 31-year-old star who is also known as a musical actor and a singer.
Bloodhounds was created by Jason Kim, the director of 2017 hit Midnight Runners. The action-comedy film portrays a story of two students attending a state police training institute handling a criminal case after witnessing a woman being kidnapped.
