SEOUL -- BTS' global mega-hit song "Dynamite" will be recreated into a pop-up store with various Lego items. At the offline store run by South Korea's mobile carrier LG Uplus, visitors can purchase Lego sets created under the theme of the Dynamite music video which gained more than 1.6 billion views on YouTube.

The disco-pop song that rolled out in August 2020 stayed in Billboard's top 100 most popular song chart for 32 consecutive weeks. The seven-member band expressed their hope that fans will overcome difficulties through the dance song with an energetic vibe. With the global hit song, the group was nominated for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category by the Grammy Awards.

In November 2022, Dynamite became the first K-pop song that was streamed from the Moon to Earth using an experimental wireless space internet service after the launch of the Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO), the first lunar orbiter in South Korea.

LG Uplus (LG U+) said the Dynamite-themed Lego pop-up store will open in southern Seoul on March 2 for 39 days. On the first floor, interesting places showcased in its music video such as a doughnut shop, a basketball court, and a record store will be displayed. Customers can also buy Lego items and enjoy photos in the building.

The offline store was launched after the release of the 749-piece Lego x BTS Dynamite set on March 1. The set made by Danish toy production company "Lego" costs 149,900 won ($115.2) in South Korea.
