A soundbar is normally an all-in-one box-shaped speaker unit that consists of multiple speakers and woofers. The speaker device targets consumers who wish to enjoy better sound when they watch a TV or use a computer.
"We have brought innovation to our soundbar's design by reflecting consumer preferences such as the quality of the sound and the design that melds well with its surroundings," LG Electronics said in a statement on July 19.
The new round-shaped soundbar called "Eclair" is no larger than 30 centimeters (11.8 inches) in width but it has a maximum output of 320 watts. The speaker can shoot sounds up to the ceiling to offer realistic multi-channel sounds and generate a good sound when connected to LG's TV models released in 2021. The TVs' artificial intelligence processor will optimize sounds for Eclair.
