SEOUL -- South Korea's top cosmetics maker, AmorePacific, will demonstrate its ability as the developer of skincare beauty devices at an annual trade show in Las Vegas in January by unveiling a 3D printing system for tailored facial mask packs and a self-aesthetic flexible LED patch, which are ready for commercialization next year.
AmorePacific has developed a customized mask pack manufacturing device using 3D printing technology, along with Lincsolution which provides comprehensive 3D printer solutions and sells 3D printer hardware. It is capable of making mask packs within 5 minutes of measurement by reflecting different facial sizes and skin characteristics.
Skincare face masks have gained popularity among the urban population of almost every country worldwide. According to a market report published by Transparency Market Research, the global sheet face mask market is expected to reach $551.3 million by 2026.
AmorePacific's flexible LED patch to be showcased at CES 2020 is a self-aesthetic device beauty device using LEDs that bend freely on the skin. The modular design ensures lightweight and no sagging of the skin. The patch will be commercially available in May next year.
