SEOUL -- Girl band Red Velvet made its grand comeback by scoring an all-kill in major South Korean song charts with "Psycho", the title track of "‘The ReVe Festival' Finale" released on Monday.
The five-member band released ‘The ReVe Festival' Finale along with the music video for the album's title song Psycho at 6:00 p.m. (0900 GMT) Monday. As of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Red Velvet has topped song charts of Melon, Genie, Soribada and Flo with Psycho.
The music video for Psycho is also popular on YouTube. It has garnered 7,937,025 views on YouTube in less than 24 hours of its release. SM Entertainment, the band's agency, said that Red Velvet's new album is also popular at online and offline record shops such as Yes24 and Hot Tracks.
Red Velvet, which debuted in 2014, has released hit songs such as "Red Flavor", "Bad Boy", "RBB" and "Rookie". The band was applauded by North Korea's chairman Kim Jong-un when it performed at a concert in Pyongyang ahead of an inter-Korean summit in April last year
