Agencies deny dating report about Kim Hee-chul and TWICE's Momo

SEOUL -- South Korea's entertainment scene was rattled by a media report on love affairs between Hirai Momo, a Japanse member of K-pop girl band TWICE, has been dating Kim Hee-chul, a Super Junior member, for two years, prompting their agencies to issue strong denials.

Label SJ, Super Junior's label, released a statement to dismiss the report as false, saying Kim, 36, and Momo, 22, have been close friends. JYP Entertainment said the two have maintained a senior-junior relationship. Momo, known for her physical fitness and body movements, is one of the most popular non-Korean K-pop stars.

The reported romance between Kim and Momo followed Monday's bombshell report by Dispatch, an entertainment media outlet, that TWICE member Jihyo was dating Kang Daniel, a former member of defunct project boy band Wanna One. JYP admitted that the two were in a relationship.
