SEOUL -- Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo postponed his visit to South Korea because of an overloaded schedule. The 33-year-old was to visit Seoul next week to promote SIXPAD, a muscle training gear and meet a promising South Korean youth footballer.
KOREA TECH, a South Korean vendor for SIXPAD, said in a statement Thursday that it was inevitable for the forward to postpone his visit to South Korea because of his tight schedule. Ronaldo was to hold a fan meeting in Seoul.
"Regarding his recent team transfer, the football star is currently busy going through a tight schedule," the vendor said. Ronaldo left Spain's Real Madrid Club de Futbol to play for Italian league's Juventus. "We will try again to bring Ronaldo to Seoul."
