SEOUL, Jan. 10 (Aju News) -- Popular boy band BTS has signed an advertising contract with a South Korean commercial bank. It was the first K-pop boy group to model for a major financial company.
KB Kookmin Bank said in a statement on Wednesday that BTS members would appear in a commercial film advertising "Liiv", the bank's online digital financial service platform.
Kookmin's previous advertising models included popular female athletes like Olympic gold medalists Kim Yuna and Park In-bee. "We thought BTS is the ideal model for our motto 'beyond South Korea's first'," a KB official..
