After Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle announced their engagement on Monday, Kensington Palace began releasing more details of the wedding and the newly engaged lovebirds.

It was announced that the wedding will take place coming May at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle grounds. Markle who is a Protestant will be baptized before the wedding.

This is a pretty significant move for Prince Harry and a way to include Princess Diana in the union as the chapel was where Princess Diana christened Prince Harry 33 years ago. Queen Elizabeth gave her blessing and permission for the couple to hold a wedding in the chapel.

St. George Chapel is a historic ground for the British royals. It held many royals' wedding including Prince Harry's cousin, Peter Phillips an was the burial site of Henry VIII. It will be a resting place for Queen Elizabeth when she passes away.

Prince Harry and Markle are "leading the planning process for all aspects of the wedding" according to the prince's spokesman Jason Knauf.

After their wedding, Markle will not be continuing her previous philanthropic works with various organizations and gender equality effort with the United Nations, Knauf said in a statement. However, she will begin new charity work as a full-time royal. She will be the fourth patron of the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
