Hall family purchased the farm in 1989 and nurtured it to the thriving ranch it is today. Long Meadow Ranch is known for its world-class vineyards, olive groves, and highland cattle, and also its sustainable farming methods like full circle farming and solar-powered farming.
Long Meadow Ranch has prospered so much that now it has five properties: three in Napa Valley (Farmstead, Mayacamas Estate, Rutherford Estate), Anderson Valley Estate, and Tomales Station in West Marin.
The ranch's Farmstead Estate includes the renowned restaurant that serves their estate-grown wines and the seasonal menus using the ranch's organic produce, grass-fed beef and lamb, extra virgin olive oil, and more.
The restaurant's executive chef is the award-winning chef, Stephen Barber. He is known for bringing the best flavor of each ingredient and balancing together in a plate. He is also famous for using slow-smoking method for meats to intensify the flavor.
