A drunk South Korean woman was stopped by traffic cops Thursday after racing the wrong way for 20 minutes on an expressway with her sports utility vehicle.
The 35-year-old surnamed Kim told police that she made the playing of illusions after drinking and followed guidelines from a car navigator only to pick the wrong ramp at around 4:00 am in Iljuk south of Seoul.
After Kim raced 23 kilometers (14 miles), highway patrol cars stopped her 20-minute mad race on tips and complaints from other vehicles which managed to avoid an accident by zig-zagging.
She was under police custody to face charges of drunk driving.
