iPhone comes with new built-in apps that would allow the  users to delete them.

For ordinary users, stock apps are useless apps taking up storage space but are impossible to delete.  However, Apple will allow users to delete stock apps from June 13 with its new operating system (OS) update.

The stock apps pre-installed on iOS take up about 150MB of storage. By updating the OS to "iOS 10 beta", the users can delete 23 of the stock apps including the Mail, Calendar, and Maps.

For years, the iOS users have asked Apple to allow them to delete stock apps. They are now cheering over Apple's decision. Apple's minimum storage models of iPhone / iPad start from 16GB and their users constantly suffer from lack of storage space.

However, Apple warns that by deleting stock apps from an iOS device could affect related system functions with other devices such as Apple Watch and Car Play. Deleted stock apps can be easily downloaded from Apple' app store.
