Conan O’Brien is joined by Steven Yeun, a star from hit drama “Walking Dead” on his adventures in South Korea. Conan posted on his Instagram a photo of him and Yeun, saying “My friend Steven Yeun had arrived!” on Tuesday.
Conan’s trip to Korea started from a letter and a box of Korean snacks from a South Korean fan named Sunny Lee. Conan moved by the heartfelt letters, and the snacks, of course, decided to make a trip to South Korea to meet Sunny in person. He also said that he will also be filming episodes of his show during his stay.
Since his arrival on Sunday, Conan had visited Noryangjin fishery market and visited a Korean barbecue restaurant. He bought a live octopus at the fishery, which he posted on his Instagram, and named the octopus Samuel.
According to reports from multiple media, The Comedian will film episodes for his show starting from February 14 until 18. Conan is to experience temple stay, learn to write “Hangul” (Korean characters), and take part in Korean drinking culture.
Other than his filming schedules, he is to appear in South Korean’s all-time comedy show “KBS Gag Concert” and TVN’s “Comedy Big League”. Chosun Ilbo reports that the comedian is also planning to make an appearance in an episode of South Korean soap opera.
Conan O’Brien is one of the top show hosts in the US. He hosted NBC’s “Late Night Show” from 1993 until 2010. From 2010, he is hosting a show on TBS’s Conan Show. Conan is also a producer, voice actor, musician, and a scenario writer, he worked with “The Simpsons” and other famous TV shows.
He is known for his spontaneous hosting style, which is most loved by the audiences of 20’s and 30’s.
