His wife, actress Han Hye-jin, gave birth to a daughter at a hospital in Seoul Sunday evening, her management agency said.
“Both Han and her baby girl are healthy," said the agency, Namoo Actors.
Han was quoted as saying: "I'm really grateful and happy to have the long-awaited baby. We'll do more to become a happy family as many people have waited with us for the baby and given blessing on us,"
The 34-year-old Han married Ki, who is eight years younger than her, in 2013.
