South Korean actor Yoo Ah-in, who plays Crown Prince Sado of Korea's Joseon Kingdom (1392-1910) in the upcoming historical film "The Throne," poses for a photo prior to a recent interview with The Aju Business Daily newspaper at a cafe in Palpan-dong, central Seoul. Sado (1735-1762) was locked in a rice chest for eight days by the order of his father, King Yeongjo (1694-1776), and starved to death, according to historical records. Actor Song Kang-ho plays Yeongjo, the 21st monarch of the kingdom, while actress Moon Geun-young plays Hyegyeonggung Hong-ssi (1735-1815), wife of the ill-fated crown crince. The movie will open in local cinemas on Sept. 16.
