Religious leaders try to demolish a barbed-wire fence after a meeting during which they issued a "declaration for peace on the Korean Peninsula and the reunification of two Koreas" at the Korea Press Center in central Seoul, Thursday. Earlier this week, South and North Korea agreed to hold Red Cross talks in early September to discuss the reunion of separated families around Chuseok, the Korean version of Thanksgiving Day. Chuseok falls on Sept. 27 according to the lunar calendar.
