President Park Geun-hye named world's 46th most powerful person by US magazine

South Korean President Park Geun-hye was named the 46th most powerful person in the world by Forbes magazine on Wednesday (local time).

She moved up six notches from last year and placed ahead of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un (49th) and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (63rd).

Park was the world's fifth most powerful woman, after German Chancellor Angela Merkel (5th), U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen (6th), Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff (31st) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) managing director Christine Lagarde (33rd), the U.S. monthly management magazine said.
