French-born actor Julien Kang (32) was investigated for strolling half naked and intoxicated in public.
Kang was found sleeping in broad daylight in Gangnam on September 18 (KST), and a passerby called the police. The responded officers found him strolling streets only wearing underwear and sleeveless shirts. The actor was immediately taken under custody and was thoroughly tested for possibly drug misuse. The authorities did not find any drug traces from his blood sample so his case was dismissed.
On the incident, his agency said, “Julien was not out in public only wearing underwear, he was wearing full sports attire”, and added, “He was out with his acquaintances the night before and drank more than he can handle. Hope his fans can understand this as a little happening.”
However, the security camera footage released recently proved the agency lied. His fans and readers expressed mixed feelings on this.
