Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Ryu Hyun-jin is unlikely to start before the postseason starts. Dodgers Manager Don Mattingly said on Tuesday (local time) that he'd be "a little surprised" if Ryu is able to pitch again before the postseason begins, according to the Dodgers homepage.
Ryu, who exited a Sept. 12 start against the Giants with shoulder inflammation, has been playing catch.
The Dodgers defeated the San Francisco Giants 9-1 in a baseball game in Los Angeles Wednesday, clinching the National League West Division title.
