Football icon Park Ji-sung ties knot with ex-SBS TV announcer Kim Min-ji

Park Ji-sung, one of South Korea’s biggest football icons, tied the knot with Kim Min-ji, who was formerly an announcer at SBS TV, at Sheraton Grand Walker Hill hotel in Seoul on Sunday.

A midfielder, Park became the first South Korean to play in English Premier League in 2005 when he joined Manchester United.

He was a member of the South Korean men’s national team that finished fourth at the Korea-Japan FIFA World Cup 2002.

Park played his last official match on May 3 with the Dutch club PVS Eindhoven. He rejoined PSV on loan from English club Queens Park Rangers for the 2013–14 season.
