The Netherlands, which defeated host Brazil in their 2014 World Cup third-place soccer match, jumped 12 spots to third, followed by Colombia (fourth), Belgium (fifth) and Uruguay (sixth).
Brazil fell from third to seventh, while Spain, the top-ranked nation in June, plunged to eighth as it failed to advance to the round of 16 in Brazil.
