Colombia's Rodriguez top scorer in 2014 World Cup

Colombia's James Rodriguez won the race for top goal-getter in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. He recorded six goals and two assists.

Thomas Mueller of Germany ranked second with five goals and three assists, followed by Lionel Messi of Argentina and Neymar da Silva of host Brazil with four goals and an assist each, and Robin van Persie of the Netherlands with four goals.

Rodriguez led his team to the quarterfinals in his virgin World Cup appearance.
