Koo Ja-cheol joins Bundesliga’s Mainz 05

South Korean midfielder Koo Ja-cheol has signed a contract keeping him in German first division Bundesliga football club Mainz 05 until mid-2018, according to media reports.

Koo showed his new jersey after a press conference in Mainz, western Germany, Monday (local time).

Koo, captain of the South-Korean national football team, played for Bundesliga rival Wolfsburg, before joining Mainz 05.
