"Jang Ok-jeong" was aired by SBS.
In the series that ended on June 25, Kim played the role of Jang Ok-jeong, also known as Jang Hui-bin, who has been often portrayed as a Joseon-period villainess. Hui-bin is one of the best known royal concubines of the Joseon Kingdom (1392-1910).
During the visit, Kim said, "This time, my mother, who has been a vocal critic of me, praised my performance in 'Jang Ok-jeong'.
"I was really happy as I was given greater than expected love. I appreciate it."
When asked about her plans, the actress said, "Next time, I want to shoot a movie. Although I've had many proposals, I'll take a rest for the time being."
