Gaga confesses her battle with eating disorder since 15

Lady Gaga posted a photo of her self in undies on littlemonsters.com and captioned next to it, “Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15.”
                            
After Katie Couric’s confession on eating disorder, Lady Gaga must have wanted to partake in influencing girls positively.  
 
Statistics show that about 8 million Americans suffer from eating disorders; 1 in 200 American women suffer anorexia and 2~3 in 100 American women suffer bulimia.
 
With the two popular female celebrities’ power over media, this could positively affect young women who suffer from eating disorder.
