There is no doubt the Korean Wave (Hallyu) is growing bigger and spreading around the world rapidly.

According to the Korean Education Center data, more people are studying the Korean language in Australia; nearly 6-thousand pre-tertiary school students in Australia have taken Korean language classes already this year, that‘s a 90 percent jump from a little more than 3-thousand in 2009.

New South Wales, a state of Australia, posted a 1-hundred percent jump compared to two years earlier, reflecting the trend of becoming literate in an Asian language.

The language institution says more students are expected to learn Korean influenced by the Korean Wave and the growing popularity of Korean music and television dramas.
