Chapter 1: General Provisions Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") are established in accordance with the Telecommunications Business Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. The purpose of these Terms is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Aju Economy (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and its members regarding the use of internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows:

  • "User": Refers to both members and non-members who use the services provided by the Company.
  • "Member": Refers to a user who accesses the service, enters into a service agreement with the Company, and is assigned a user ID.
  • "ID": Refers to the email address determined by the member and approved by the Company for identification and service use.
  • "Password": Refers to a combination of letters and numbers set by the member to protect their information and confirm their identity.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Changes to the Terms)
  • These Terms become effective upon being posted on the service screen or notified to the members. The Company may revise these Terms within the scope not violating related laws if reasonable grounds arise.
  • Members who do not agree to changes in the Terms may discontinue their use of the service and terminate the service agreement.
Article 4 (Supplementary Provisions)
  • Matters not specified in these Terms shall follow the Telecommunications Basic Act, the Telecommunications Business Act, and other related laws.
  • These Terms apply alongside the service usage guidelines for individual services provided by the Company.
Chapter 2: Service Use Agreement Article 5 (Application for Use and Establishment of Service Agreement)
  • Users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms when they click the "Agree" button during the application process.
  • The service agreement is established when the Company reviews and approves the user's service application.
  • Users applying for membership must provide the necessary information requested by the Company.
  • The Company may reject or cancel applications under the following conditions:
  • If false information, omissions, or errors are found in the application.
  • If the application is made using another person’s identity.
  • If the application is made for purposes that disrupt public order or morality.
Article 6 (Management of Member ID and Password)
  • Members are responsible for managing their assigned IDs and passwords. The Company is not liable for any consequences arising from negligence in managing IDs and passwords or unauthorized use.
  • If a member suspects that their ID or password is being used by a third party, they must notify the Company and follow its guidance.
Article 7 (Protection of Personal Information)

The Company shall strive to protect users' personal information in accordance with relevant laws. Personal information protection and usage policies shall be governed by related laws and the Company's Privacy Policy. However, the Privacy Policy does not apply to external sites linked from the Company’s official website, and the Company is not responsible for information exposure caused by users’ negligence.

Article 8 (Use of Member Information)
  • The Company must obtain user consent when collecting personal information.
  • If the Company intends to share member information with a partner, it shall inform the member of the partner's name, purpose, and details of the information to be shared in advance and obtain consent. If a member does not wish to share their information, they may opt out of certain services or events.
  • The Company may use aggregated statistical data related to member information for business purposes. Additionally, the Company may send cookies to a member's computer during service provision, which members can disable or receive warnings about by changing their browser settings.
Chapter 3: Obligations of the Contracting Parties Article 9 (Obligations of the Company)
  • The Company shall make every effort to prevent any acts violating laws or public morality.
  • The Company shall strive to provide continuous and stable service. In cases of failure or loss of equipment, the Company shall restore the service promptly unless unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters or emergencies prevent it.
  • The Company shall promptly process user complaints deemed valid through appropriate procedures. If immediate resolution is difficult, the Company shall notify the user of the reason and the expected timeline for resolution.
Article 10 (Obligations of Users and Members)
  • Users and members shall comply with these Terms, Company regulations, notices, and relevant laws.
  • Members must provide truthful information when applying for membership and updating their details. Any member registering false or another person’s information shall forfeit any related rights.
  • Members shall not engage in the following prohibited activities:
  • Unauthorized collection, storage, or use of other users' IDs, passwords, or personal information.
  • Intentional interference with the stable operation of the service.
  • Distribution of vulgar, obscene, defamatory, or offensive content.
  • Hacking, virus distribution, or any other activities violating public order.
  • Any violation of these Terms or other Company policies.
  • Acts that directly or indirectly relate to criminal activities.
Chapter 4: Use of Service Article 11 (Service Provision)
  • The Company shall provide services 24/7 unless there are special technical or operational issues.
  • The Company may temporarily suspend services for system maintenance, expansion, or replacement, and in such cases, users shall be notified in advance.
  • The Company may restrict or suspend service provision in case of national emergencies, power outages, equipment failures, or service overload, and shall notify members before or after such occurrences.
  • The Company shall not be responsible for service interruptions caused by factors beyond its control, such as technical failures or third-party issues.
  • The Company provides both free and paid services. Users must pay the designated fees to use paid services.
  • The Company may request additional personal information for paid services, and members must provide accurate information. The Company is not responsible for damages caused by false or inaccurate information.
Article 12 (Information and Advertising)
  • The Company may provide necessary information to members via announcements or emails.
  • The Company may display advertisements on the service interface, website, or emails, and users are deemed to have agreed to such advertisements when using the service.
Article 13 (Management of User Content)
  • User-generated content includes all posts, comments, photos, and files uploaded to the service.
  • Copyright for such content belongs to the respective members. The Company shall not use the content for commercial purposes without user consent but retains the right to display it within the service for non-commercial purposes.
  • Users may not commercially utilize or distribute service content without permission.
Article 14 (Content Restrictions)
  • The Company may remove or restrict user content without prior notice in the following cases:
  • If it infringes on another person’s rights, privacy, or reputation.
  • If it contains vulgar, obscene, or defamatory content.
  • If it violates the Company’s or others’ intellectual property rights.
  • If it promotes commercial advertisements.
  • If it violates any laws or regulations.
Chapter 5: Termination of Agreement Article 15 (Termination of Agreement)

Members may terminate their service agreement at any time via the “Account Deletion” menu, which takes effect immediately.

Chapter 6: Liability and Disclaimers Article 16 (Liability for Damages)

The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by members using free services unless caused by intentional or gross negligence.

Article 17 (Disclaimer)
  • The Company shall not be liable for service disruptions due to natural disasters or other force majeure.
  • The Company shall not be responsible for any information posted by members.
  • The Company shall not be liable for losses caused by user negligence or disputes between users and third parties.
